What is 41 Club?

Chelmsford 41 Club was started in 1963 by past members of Chelmsford Round Table 132. At about the same time Chelmsford Tindal Round Table 826 was established and by 1968 past members of Tindal Round Table started joining the club.

Chelmsford 41 Club is now open to members and ex members of Round Table who are over 40 and to those who have attained this age and have partners who are members of Tangent or Ladies Circle.

Members enjoy varied social activities throughout the year that help members to develop new friendships and continue the friendships made in Round Table. Members are like minded people who, whilst enjoying a good time, are also keen to put something back into the community. So, community service projects and charitable fundraising are actively pursued.

One of 41 Club's prime objectives is to support Round Table in Chelmsford.

The Club meets on the second Monday of each month, except August, at Little Channels. They gather in the bar from about 7:30 pm before adjourning for a meal. Often, they invite after dinner speakers who cover topics that range from whiskey and brandy tasting  to Zoos and the local prison!
