Chelmsford's Favourite Easter Bunny Hunt! 

Easter Sunday 16th April 2016, 11am-2pm

After 13 years at Hylands House, in 2016 Chelmsford's annual Easter Bunny Hunt hopped into the city centre! We had such a great time in Central Park we're back there in 2017. Join is in Central Park on Easter Sunday to hunt for wooden bunnies and win a chocolatey prize. It's a great Easter day out for the family in a lovely central venue. Enjoy the colourful planting, riverside walks, children's play area, skatepark, adiZone sports area, Miniature Railway or simply watch the swans on the lake. 

Organised every year by the members of Chelmsford Ladies Circle, in aid of local charities, this year's Bunny Hunt will raise funds for The Ark Centre, a therapy centre in Springfield for children with Autism and social and communication difficulties.

Tickets include the Bunny Hunt sheet and a chocolatey prize. Parents go free.

Parental Responsiblity / Liability
As a carer or parent of a child(ren) attending this event, you must agree that you bear the sole responsiblity for the safety and comfort of yourself and that your child(ren) throughout the event. Regardless of the presence of other adults at events, it is imperative that you are watchful and aware of the whereabouts and safety of your own child(ren).
 
Photo Consent
Please be aware that we do have photographers on site throughout the day taking publicity photos. If you do not wish your child)ren) to be in these shots please speakk to a member of staff at the check in desk. Thanks for your co-operation.
 
What if my child has dietary requirements?
If your child has a food intolerance please contact us in advance, by email, and we will do our best to accommodate them. 

Do we hunt real bunnies?
No!!! You're hunting for our 13-year old wooden bunnies to find out their names, which are written on the bunny itself. We'll give you a sheet to write all the names down (please bring a pen/pencil) and then you can come and claim your prize!

What if we don't find all the bunnies?
Don't worry!!! All ticketholders will receive a prize. Just bring your sheet back when you're ready to finish.

Do I need to bring my tickets?
Yes please it will make it all go more smoothly.

Will there be refreshments in the park?
We're booking suppliers to provide hot drinks and some food. The cafe, Cake at the Lake, is closed on Easter Sunday.

Are there toilets?
There are toilets near the cafe Cake at the Lake which should be open during the event.

Is this event suitable for wheelchairs and buggies?
This event is suitable for all ages and is fully accessible. There are many access points to the park including from the city centre.

Where can I park?

What time is the Bunny Hunt?
Bunny Hunt opens at 11am. Entry closes at 1pm. Prize Collection closes at 2pm.

What if it rains?

Are you insured?
We are covered by Public Liability insurance held by the National Association of Ladies Circles of Great Britain & Ireland.
